Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Download Flowgains from the App Store or Google Play and open the app. You can sign up with your email address or use Sign in with Apple or Google.

What is included in the free plan?

The free plan lets you log workouts, view your history, and track basic progress. Voice logging, AI coaching, and advanced analytics require Flowgains Unlimited.

Which devices are supported?

Flowgains runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS 15.1 or later) and Android phones (Android 6.0 or later).

Account & Profile

How do I edit my personal details?

Open the Profile tab and tap Personal Details to update your name, age, weight, height, and other information.

How do I change my preferences?

From the Profile tab, tap Preferences to change your language, units (kg/lb), and notification settings.

How do I delete my account?

Scroll to the bottom of the Profile tab and tap Delete account. You will be asked to confirm. Once deleted, all your data is permanently erased and cannot be recovered.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email address. You will receive a reset link. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.

Subscriptions & Billing

How do I upgrade to Flowgains Unlimited?

From the Profile tab, tap the upgrade banner or button to open the paywall. Choose between the monthly or yearly plan and complete the purchase through the App Store or Google Play.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

From the Profile tab, tap Manage subscription to open the subscription management portal. From there you can cancel, change your plan, or view billing details. You can also manage it directly from your device:

  • iPhone/iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Flowgains
  • Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Flowgains

Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google directly, as they process all payments. For genuine issues, contact us at help@flowgains.app and we will do our best to assist.

I subscribed but Unlimited features are not unlocked.

From the Profile tab, tap Restore Purchases to sync your subscription status. If the issue persists, contact us.

Logging Workouts

How does voice logging work?

While inside an active workout, tap the microphone button to start recording. Speak your set — for example, "bench press 3 sets of 10 at 80 kg" — then tap again to stop. Flowgains will transcribe your voice and fill in the input automatically. Voice logging requires Flowgains Unlimited.

Can I edit a logged set after saving it?

Yes. Open the workout from your history and tap any set to edit the values.

Can I log workouts offline?

Manual logging works without an internet connection. Voice logging and AI features require connectivity. Your data syncs automatically once you reconnect.

AI Features

How are AI training plans generated?

Flowgains analyzes your training history, goals, and preferences to create a personalized plan. Plans are suggestions — you can always adjust exercises, sets, or frequency to fit your schedule.

Is AI coaching a substitute for a personal trainer?

No. AI-generated advice is for guidance only and does not replace professional coaching or medical advice. Always consult a qualified trainer or health professional before making significant changes to your training.

Your Data

Can I export my workout data?

Yes. From the Profile tab, tap Export Data. Your full training history will be exported as an Excel file (.xlsx) that you can share or save to your device.

How is my data protected?

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your personal information to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

The app is crashing or behaving unexpectedly.

Try closing and reopening the app, then check for updates in the App Store or Google Play. If the problem continues, contact us with a description of what happened and your device model.

Voice logging is not working.

Make sure you have granted Flowgains microphone permission in your device settings. Speak clearly after tapping the mic button and tap again to stop the recording. An internet connection is required for transcription.

My data is not syncing across devices.

Ensure both devices are connected to the internet and signed in to the same account. Pull down on the home screen to trigger a manual sync. If data is still missing, contact support.
